The Kenya Taekwondo Jidokwan Federation successfully conducted an exchange program event on March 30, 2024, at King David School in Kamulu, along Kangundo Road.
The event aimed to promote social exchange, skill development, and collaboration among Taekwondo practitioners.

The event saw a significant turnout of participants (63) from five (5) schools in Embakassi, Utawala, and Kangundo Road, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for cultural exchange and learning.

2. Activities:
The program included both Poomsae (forms) 1-3 and Kyorugi (sparring) sessions, providing participants with opportunities to showcase their skills, learn from each other, and engage in friendly competition.
Key to note is the introduction of Taegeuk Kibon il jang to sam jang (kibon 1-3) for children aged between 3 years to 6 years.
3. Skill Development:
Participants had the chance to learn new techniques, refine their existing skills, and receive valuable feedback from experienced instructors and coaches present at the event including a word of encouragement from our Secretary General.
4. Social and Cultural Exchange:
The event facilitated social exchange and camaraderie among participants, promoting mutual respect, understanding, and friendship among Taekwondo school practitioners from different social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
5. Community Engagement:
In addition to the Taekwondo activities, the event featured interactive sessions, demonstrations, and discussions on topics such as sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership, enriching the overall experience for participants.
6. Success Stories:
Several participants showcased remarkable progress and achievement during the event, reflecting the effectiveness of training programs and the dedication of both athletes and coaches.
